OUGD505 Studio Brief 1 | Influential Figures

When looking into who is changing the way we live in our world today and will change our future I started with household names, such as;

Mark Zuckerberg
Steve Jobs
Sundar Pichai

Jack Dorsey
Stephen Hawking

These people have changed how people interact over the internet, inventing some of the biggest social media platforms used today.


Although I might not have known their names, I knew there were more people out there doing something, somewhere that will change our future for the better. After some searching on the internet through many 'Top 10' lists and 'Most influential people' lists, I think I found a few people that could make it onto a banknote.

The first three people who will appear on my banknotes will be;

Mark Zuckerberg // Invented Facebook - Connects people globally - Donates to charity - Giving internet to people otherwise unable to access it - Provided a business structure and mindset for future and upcoming creatives.

Elon Musk // Founder of SpaceX - Providing the best possibility of space travel - Co-Founder of Tesla Motors - Best electronic motors, trying to eventually eradicate petrol and diesel cars - Widely considered the future of electronics.

Malala Yousafzai // Youngest person to receive a Nobel Prize - Nominated twice, won once - Activist for female education rights - Survived an attack from the Taliban and carried on fighting her cause.
