OUGD504 Studio Brief 1 | Response to Feedback

Overall I am happy with the feedback I received as it was mostly positive with lots of help, suggestions and opinions.

I experimented with making the leaflet smaller as suggested but I personally thought the next size down (A5) was too small. A few people liked the size so it's not like I am completely wrong/alone with my opinion. Another thing that got mentioned was that it was too long when fully opened, so now instead of it being 8 pages long it is now 6. This also allows me to have 2 stages per page, meaning the pages are busier than before and less blank space. This was also mentioned in the feedback.

On the back of my leaflet I am still unsure of what to do. With the nature of the fold, the front and back covers, along with all the middle body of the leaflet are visible and connected when fully opened. Some of the feedback was good as the suggestions were reassuring because I was worried my opinion was wrong. A few points that I got with the feedback is that the back doesn't have to be filled. Originally, I wanted an image with an orange overlay, but after trying that out it it didn't look great.

I didn't really want to go down the route of a flow chart or time-line as I thought it was maybe a bit too obvious and I don't think it suits the look of my leaflet. A couple of people suggested a pattern of some sort using the colour scheme but I don't really want to have any illustrations. I have kept it pretty sharp and geometric.

Possibilites:

-Nothing on the back
-A single block of colour
-Interesting type

I was also happy with the feedback concerning my suggested colour scheme. All comments really liked it but also suggested to try different colours anyway.
At the start I did play around with colour but then after some research into colour, it is considered that orange is the colour that inspires creativity and work flow.
