That artists' work is getting copied so much so that they are losing their identity and becoming nothing more than files to many people.
To show this, I have taken images of the more famous artists and most pirated artists and distorted them in Photoshop to create the effect below. This reflects how they and their work are getting copied over and over.
As well as the distort effect on the images, I added another effect called 'Colour Halftone'. This effect makes the image look like it is on a screen by taking the pixels of the image and dissecting them to RGB.
