OUGD505 Studio Brief 2 | Poster Development [4] .mp3 Type

I changed the type in the middle of the images to say .mp3 This was done to communicate that these artists have lost their identity to a certain degree and are now just files. '.mp3' is the most common music file type.

To make sure that this text doesn't take away from the image or more importantly the type at the bottom, I changed the blending on it to that the type becomes part of the image, rather than type over an image.

I wanted to make sure that the type is consistent through all the posters. But as all the images have different colours and shades, placing the same colour text over the images with the same amount of opacity or fill, they will all come out different.

To avoid this I used the 'Screen' blending option.
Then I found the average colour of the image the type will be over.
I then made the text that colour, and placed it over the respective image.
This made sure that all the '.mp3' type on the posters are the same colour, shade, and amount of opacity.
