Title - Bebas Neue, Regular
I chose this as it is a clean, simple typeface that is subtle but also adds to the look of the book. It doesn't distract the reader from the images and the body text but it's bold enough to notice and read straight away. I thought about using a slab-serif typeface as Tarantino often describes his films as 'modern westerns' but it looked very odd as I couldn't find one that fitted the aesthetic.
Body- Helvetica, Light
Helvetica light was suitable for this occasion as it suits the simple, minimal look I was going for. I originally had Garamond but the contrast between the white, minimal look was too great and I found it was off-putting. I think Helvetica light works very well.
Front Cover- LeviBrush
I thought this font was right for this job as it's messy and non-linear, it doesn't follow a clear grid or rule, like Tarantino's films. I also feel it somehow links to the violence and destruction in his films, and links well with the red I have used.
