first I listened to the song without reading or looking into the lyrics in order to get my own sense of what it was about and what I thought of it woithout being influenced by other's opinions or thoughts.

I then went on to read up about the song and what the writer had in his mind when writing the song. It then became clear what it was about and how I could use the narrative of the song when designing the cover.
