OUGD503 Studio Brief 2 | Research

When researching, we looked at very minimal, modern designs as that’s what we were aiming to achieve. By keeping it very minimal, that cuts out any possibility of it being too masculine or too feminine  which is the aim of the brief. Pharmacutical medicine isn’t aimed at men or women, it is very gender neutral. We took a lot of inspiration from this when looking into it further.

We noticed that a lot of the labeles are black and white, include lines to seperate different sections, and have a lot of white space. We would then take these design aspects and apply them to our own products. 


We refined these qualities in order for it to have a very sleek, modern, high-end look. When combined with a brown bottle it will look very nice. 









For the physical bottles we decided to go with the amber coloured dispensers as medicine used to come in similar coloured glass bottles. This will add to the aesthetic of the bottle and work well with the brand and our aims.
